How to download videos online

You do not need a desktop app. If the video is public, copy its link and paste it into VideoSaver.

Step by step

1. Open the video on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Reddit or Vimeo.
2. Copy the public URL.
3. Paste it on the VideoSaver home page.
4. Press Get video and open or save the file.

If the file will not save

Some hosts block the browser from renaming the file. Use Open file, then use your browser’s download button. Phone browsers sometimes save from the share sheet after the video opens.
